He is smarter, more strategic, more tactical, more knowledgeable in fundamentals and mechanisms, etc. Taking Masquerade vs Spectra into consideration as well, Hydranoid's chances increase EVEN further, as I think we can all agree that Masquerade is just a better brawler than Spectra overall. So, under these assumptions, Hydranoid, if not far stronger, should definitely be significantly stronger than Helios to defeat him - and even do it confidently. Just as long as we put these 2 on a fair, level-playing, competitive field). So, we must be fair and just assume some stuff (like, using pre-nerf Hydranoid, give him some equipment and robotic parts as you mentioned (just like Helios has), or we can just completely strip both of them from any mechanical equipment, whatsoever, both work. However, it isn't easy comparing these two bakugan, since the power scaling in New Vestroya (and especially in further seasons) went over the top and broke the roof. Now, Helios is also an incredibly strong bakugan who accomplished impressive feats. Bakugan (though didn't) who was capable of wielding the power of infinity core Who defeated, basically, darkus GOD with just his dual form and the bakugan who rivaled Drago himself in terms of power and, actually, was EVEN stronger than him for most of season 1. Mind you, Hydranoid was literally the former MOST powerful bakugan on planet earth for a significant time. Instead, we are using season 1 Alpha Hydranoid with his original power-level. Alright, so, firstly, for this fight to be fair, we must obviously put both Helios and Hydranoid on more or less equal grounds, which means that we are not going to use the season 2 nerfed Hydranoid and basically the version, which was treated unfairly and pathetically by the writers.
